Programs and Activities


DHARMA ACTIVITIES

    a) Enrollment/Admission for Students
    Students can enroll and voluntarily commence their education in the institute. The number of children enrolling the education will depend on the admission slots that can be provided by the Institute each year.
    b) Teachings and Meditation Practices
    Lessons will be taught to the students in line with the curriculum developed for different grades.
    c) Teachings for People in the communities by Khenpos and Lopons
    The institute will organize weekly religious discourse that will target people in the communities. This is aimed to sensitize people on the spiritual values that can enable to channel their energies towards community well being and vitality.
    d) Inviting Rinpochhes/Masters to administer Initiation and Oral Transmission /Wang
    The Institute will invite Rinpochhes/Masters to provide opportunity for the people to receive Initiation or oral transmission occasionally. This will help reinforce the formal leanings and teachings by the Institute.

    e) The institute will also organize meditation course aimed at Youths, old age people and farmers in the community. Depending on the availability of these target audience that will be done in consultation a season will be identified with specified duration for this activity.

    f) The Institute will perform sacred prayers and rituals on auspicious days and occasions.

    g) As an annual event, the Institute will organize hundred thousand Feast Offering(Tshokbum), white flour burnt offering (Kar Sur), Druphchoe and twenty one Tara recitation for the well being of all sentient beings.

    h) Organize and recitation as and when required.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Not withstanding the spiritual activities, the Institute in collaboration with the Local Government Offices, School and relevant agencies carry out social activities that will benefit community.

Some of the key activities will include the following:
  • To create awareness on importance of environment related such as Climate changes, Zero waste management, Conservation of endanger species through teachings as monastery is located in the vicinity of Royal National Manas Park Zone.
  • Support disadvantaged children including those from the broken families, elderly people and others needing care through financial incentives or material/physical support.
  • To strengthen community vitality through religious teachings and religious discourses in theƂ community
